An enthusiastic group of art lovers enjoyed the work displayed at the PLOWSHARES FOR PEACE GALLERY, 33 East Adams Detroit, MI 48226

Digital construction and fusion of color.

The show featured the work four of the areas outstanding Recycing Rebels, FUNKYPHIL, RUTH WARNMOCK, DENNIS SABATOWICH, and RICHIE.  The Peace Center and Gallery discribes the work as unique art from recycled materials -Great for Gifts.  

 

 

 

FUNKYPHIL

The Industrial fusion of technologies that have changed the world and the swager and cultural vibe of the Motor Capital of the World unite and materialize in the art of FunkyPhil .  The colors and integration of discarded items recycles them into valued creations to enhance the world.  Expounding on the principal "Waste Not Want Not"

The Plowshears show was very uplifting and colorful.  Located on Adams next to Comamerica Park "The Home of th Detroit Tigers" the gallery was the perfect location.  The conversations, food, and drink accented  an artistic afternoon of intellectual Funk!  Sun fills the entire Gallery and shows off all of the natural colors of the art work. The show will be on dispaly Sep. 13th to Nov 8th  2008 from 1:30 -4:pm.

Colors enhance the mud cloth and texture.
